Important Update on Danube River Cruises – Low Water Levels

May 16, 2025

Europe is currently experiencing one of its driest springs in recent years, resulting in lower than usual water levels - particularly on the upper Danube River near Passau, which has begun to impact river navigation.

Our local operations team is actively adjusting cruising schedules to ensure our river cruises can continue with minimal disruption. In some cases, this may include moving guests to sister Scenic Space-Ships to allow for the continuation of the cruise.

We are closely monitoring the evolving conditions and will keep guests informed as a priority should any changes affect their upcoming journey.

Please know that we remain fully committed to delivering the best possible itinerary under these circumstances and will continue working diligently to navigate these challenges beyond our control.
